Location

The Villa Bentota has a charmed location just back from Bentota’s long sandy southern beach. This stretch of coastline sees the best Sri Lankan sunsets, and nothing beats lying back on a sun lounger sipping sundowners as the skies turn pink. A railway line separates the hotel’s garden from the beach, and carriages roll past a few times an hour. Bentota has a range of facilities, and offers water sports, turtle hatcheries and Buddhist temples, and is connected to Colombo and Galle directly by train or via the Southern Expressway.
