Our Story
The KK Collection story began in November 2006 with the opening of Kahanda Kanda, originally a secluded retreat of just five villas. Today, it has grown into one of Sri Lanka’s most celebrated luxury boutique hotels, now featuring 17 villas – 13 of which boast their own private plunge pool pools.
In 2016, the oceanfront KK Beach joined the Collection, adding a stylish coastal escape to the portfolio. In May 2021, the Collection welcomed The Villa Bentota – formerly Paradise Road Villa Bentota – a Geoffrey Bawa-designed heritage property that has since undergone a major refurbishment, blending history with contemporary style.
Beyond its hotels, the KK Collection is also known for its distinctive retail presence. KK Boutique was established in 2009 within the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort and has since expanded to two flagship stores there, a third in Hikkaduwa, and a satellite boutique within each hotel.
